Should decisions be reconsidered?

Either a King of Pauper, young or old, if there is something common between everyone it is the choice of decision making.

Though it may sound easy, it is one of the difficult things to do and people tend to rethink and keep changing their decisions out of uncertainty.

An article published in success.com says that rethinking a decision will only makes things worse. It quotes Gerald Zaltman, a Harvard Business School professor emeritus, who studied consumer-buying patterns. How you feel about the decision stalls your progress. If you feel uncertain about choosing, guess what? You’ll just keep thinking about it, the article states.

When you make a decision go ahead with it, at some point you can always adjust it instead of wasting time by analysing whether the decision is right or wrong. Take control of the decision.

The article gives the example of Richard Barson of someone taking action. He had never flown a plane and didn’t know anything about engineering them, but he started an airline regardless.

How he did it was simple,'He started his business and then figured it out along the way. If Branson tried to think his way to starting a company, he’d still be in his head,' the article mentions.

One more method which can be followed is choosing an idol and think what they would do in your situation.

'Asking this question is a form of cognitive restructuring. By stopping your thoughts and asking yourself a question, you interrupt your emotions and can focus your mind,' the article explains.

Now the most difficult part is doing what you think. Don't think,  don't reconsider, don't be uncertain when you make a decision go with it.

If none of the above works you can flip a coin choosing different decisions for each side of the coin and when the coin is in the air you will know what you want.
