What Motivates Me- RED Theory- Rajan Babu

Motivation RED Theory-

Just going back  and travel in HR Profession Since 1991  from Personal Officer to becoming a small entrepreneur, I was pondering what was really missing out in Motivating me throughout. While in conversations with Many friends around what I understood was

Every body has inherent talent for which an opportunity arises,  but way through  what happens is few important factors are not coming in line or supporting though we talk or share and encourage. My salaries are good taking care all my needs. Is this enough?

 On lot of thought process I started thinking of  what really did not  Motivate me while at work or what made me to leave the organizations. Many a times when friends talk I found  the Following  factors were really missing in todays world with Technologies/ Numbers.

 Lack Mutual Trust and Relationship building – leading to conflicts

 

What really Motivates in today’s context

Respect-  Value  me as a person/ Human

Recognize-  Me for small or big good things done.

Reward – Be unbiased based on performance

Empower- Listen and encourage my performance. Allow me to exhibit and guide me.

Develop-  Show me what is in for my future.

When I am Respected, Recognized, Rewarded all my needs are full filled and I feel motivated.  When empowered I come out to perform and when my future is clear I become more Self Confident and my performance becomes a result that is expected. This is also the causes for various Conflicts/ IR Issues.

As a result Trust is strongly built and with strong Relationship building and thus everybody focuses  in development and building the Organization.
