How to forget being forgetful

At one point of time we would all have forgotten something that we stress ourselves so much about it, even though we know better.
This is caused by several reasons starting from lifestyle to busy days and demanding obligations.
An article in gives a list of points that would help you in those forgetful moments.
* Stop thinking too much further into the future and keep focused on what you have at hand right now. Small, positive actions that you take moment by moment will one day add up at then end. It will be far better than what you imagined.
*When things aren’t adding up in your life, begin subtracting. Life gets a lot simpler when you clear the clutter that makes it complicated.
We often think that doing more will give us more satisfaction, while in reality it is exactly the opposite.
Instead of submitting to the urge of rushing through tasks simply focus more on doing less every step of the way. Be mindful of the urge to overdo something.
* Train your mind to see the good in everything. The most powerful weapon against stress is our ability to choose one thought over another.
Being positive does not mean ignoring the negative rather it is overcoming the negativity.
It is easier said than done. Just remember that behind every stressful feeling is an untrue thought.  Before the thought you weren’t suffering, but after the thought you began to suffer.  When you recognise that the thought isn’t true, once again there is no suffering.  When you change your thoughts, you gradually change your life.
* When you hold on to something it can be really painful and may lead to health issues and depressive thoughts.
Happiness is letting go of what you assume your life is supposed to be like right now and sincerely embracing it for everything that it is.
We can stop holding on only when we realise there nothing to hold on to in the first place. Life gets a lot easier to deal with when we understand this.
* Instead of whining about what we do not have it is sensible to be happy and appreciative of what we have.
Most of us have amazing family members, friends, and other loved ones who love us back.  Learn to appreciate what a gift that is.  Most of us have good health, which is another gift.
Most of us have eyes, with which to enjoy the amazing gifts of sunsets and nature and beauty all around us.  Most of us have ears, with which to enjoy music – one of the greatest gifts of them all.
To keep it in the simplest way be happy that you are alive and you wake up everyday.
* You cannot expect everyone to be nice to you, this will lead to disappointment. When people are rude, you do not have respond to them or insult them back.
Keep your dignity and don’t lower yourself to their level.  True strength is being bold enough to walk away from the nonsense with your head held high.
You do not have to justify yourself to others. Your life is yours alone.
Others can judge you and try to persuade you to their point of view, but they can’t decide anything for you.  They can walk with you if they choose, but not in your shoes.
*It is not possible to control what happens in your life, but you can always decide how you respond to something.
Others can judge you and try to persuade you to their point of view, but they can’t decide anything for you. They can walk with you if they choose, but not in your shoes.
Where does this tension we feel come from?  We’re resisting life – perhaps we’re annoyed by someone, frustrated at our circumstances, overwhelmed by all our obligations, or just flat out bored.  And our mental resistance creates a tension in our bodies and unhappiness in our lives.
By practising these key points you will have more presence of mind and less tension.
