Job Description

Looking for one of our Reputed Client located near Chennai

Position: Team Leader- Productiton

Qualification: Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical with relevant experience on assembly lines in Auto component Industries, preferably in motor manufacturing Industry

Exp- 3-5 Years

Salary - As per Industrial Standards

Location: Poonamalle near Chennai

Requirements

Material planning for production.

Meet production target continuous basis and analyze & immediate action of production difficulties

 

Daily monitoring and analysis of defects on the production line.

Responsible for material control in production line and accounting to stores.

Ensure steady flow of production, produce the right product, in the right quality, quantity and at the right time.

Daily monitoring of Customer Complaints, making appropriate action plan and execution  

Implementation of Kaizen and Poke yoke at all possible stages in Line

Following the “5 S” Practice

Ensure optimal machine utilization

Initiate, recommend, investigate, trouble-shoot and provide solutions and actions to prevent the occurrence of any nonconformities relating to the products, process and quality system.

Lead a team of technicians and operators to meet production yield and target.

In charge of the workshop's daily output requirements and operational efficiency.

Liaison with production on planning output requirements

Initiate appropriate action for reduction of wastage, motion, power, etc

Identify skills of machine operator and impart on the job & off the job training.

Ensure safety operation in the production line

Allocation & Rationalization of manpower.

Determining skill requirement & development.

Managing unauthorized absence, developing multi-skills of operators.

Maintaining of production report, rejection report, inventory report.

Recording and reporting of downtime, shortage of manpower, shortage of new skills, training, etc.

 

Maintain Discipline, General cleanliness & harmonious environment inside the plant

Skills :

Ability to understand customer requirements

Ability to recognize safety hazards

Ability to keep records and make reports.

Ability to assess progress of production and employees.

Ability to train operators as per quality standard, customer & group requirement

Ability to motivate Operators to write more suggestions

Optimizes process parameters to reduce cycle time

Implements & validates Poka yoke in all operations to achieve targets.
