We are Calyah Furniture, a leading Solid wood furniture manufacturing company located in Chennai looking for a Project Manager.

Roles & Responsibilities:y

• Provides budget plan based on the business requirement on the facility requirement like building, machine, tools and jigs, process setup and standardization, etc.,

• Need to provide a best plan of project budget with the best payback period to ensure the return on investments.

• Ensure timely execution of projects without any delay or deviations.

• Coordinate with the operations team identify the bottle neck area and provide a engineering solution for the easy manufacturing and delivery.

• Ensure uninterrupted business plan execution.

• Implementation of lean methodology on all the project stages.

• Ensure safety and health standards on all project stages.

• Should provide a best cost plan which suits the business short and long terms.

• Understand all the critical path method of the business process on each stage and provides a best solutions.

• Need to provide a project plan which is very competitive, benchmark with competitors, which is customer likely.

• Project manager is responsible for the budget planning and monitoring the projects.

• Suggest management with the best machinery options to reduce the manufacturing time and produce consistent quality products.

• Ensure the best plant layout designed and provides a solution according to the business and customer demands.

Education:  Degree in Engineering or Industrial Engineering

Experience:

• Minimum 20 years’ experience in industries in that Minimum of 5 Years in Furniture Industry and in to leadership role in business.

• Must have knowledge on the furniture factory setup and machine installations, project executions, etc. with good project track records and from the reputed brand companies.
