A leading German Based MNC coming up with a new Project at Coimbatore is looking for 

Designation: - Plant Head

Location: Coimbatore

Experience: 15 - 20 years

Bachelorof Engineering (Preferred – Electronics / Electronics and Telecommunications)

       He / she (candidate) would take up the plant head role over a period of 8-12 months

CTC- Max 25 Lacs/ Per annum

Key Responsibilities:

 Ø  To execute and review systems & processes at all level at plant operations. Needs to setup new production lines. Will be part of core team for transition of production lines from Slovenia to India – overall project management

Ø  Demonstrate and execute  MTM, Line balancing, create and update routings, Process flow chart, PFMEA, VSD and VSM

Ø  Technical specification of line, industrialization planning and coordinate with suppliers

Ø  Responsible to handle complete Plant operations like Manufacturing, Quality, Maintenance, Stores, Dispatch etc.

Ø  Responsible for Overall cost & Profitability of Manufacturing Operations

Ø  Preparation of annual AOP and realization of top line and bottom-line, will own the P&L and be responsible for business growth

Ø  Continues design and development of new products

Ø  Executing cost saving and energy saving techniques/ measures and modifying the system to achieve a substantial reduction in departmental expenditures and work within the budget

Ø  Reduction of wastage and spillage during mixing, start-ups, shutdowns 

Ø  Reduction and elimination of rejections and goods returned

Ø  Responsible to handle upcoming plant Projects

Ø  Responsible to ensure on-time production and its delivery to the customer

Ø  Overall Quality (QCD) responsibility with alignment to the standard and global MAHLE guidelines

Ø  Major products for focus are Electric Drive Systems, Electric Motors AC induction motors and ECU, BLPM motors and ECU

 People Management Responsibilities:

 Ø  Responsible for the general supervision and direction of the team including monitoring, Control on processes and will take prompt corrective action as appropriate whenever required

Ø  Responsible for attendance, behavior, motivation and spirit of the team

Ø  Will provide coaching and support to the team in areas such as conflict resolution, problem-solving, and transfer of technical, administrative and managerial tasks, work processes and procedures, etc., to meet organizational objectives

Ø  Will monitor and manage the performance of the team as per the guidelines of the corporate policies, corporate directives and collective agreements

Ø  Will ensure that well-conceived plans are executed to cater to the requirements in the best possible manner

Ø  Excellent in Communication. Candidate with good Adaptability and ready for Global Interaction would be preferred. Knowledge of Tamil Language is a must. Spanish / German language awareness will be added advantage
