General Purpose

Responsible for Laboratory Management activities in Chennai site.

Main responsibility area in charge of Lab Management

• Provide laboratory services to internal employees (and contractually obligated external engineer) according to agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
• Provide integrated end-to-end telecom networks for lab users across NOKIA including also partners. This includes also remote support for users.
• Proactive involvement in CAPEX/OPEX planning by verifying lab needs and by identifying opportunities for existing lab resources co-use, reuse or centralized use.
• Environment hosting functions shall be offered to all stakeholders.
• Manages laboratory facilities, cabling, local networks, firewalls, etc….
• Develop laboratory related practices, solutions and processes specific to the local lab environment
• Provide central maintenance of test equipment (Repair, license management, calibration, preventive maintenance)
