Posisiton: Sr Financial Analyst – Augusta Hitech – Coimbatore.

Description

The Financial Analyst participates in long-term and short-term financial planning, forecasting, management reporting and analysis and the creation of tools to help drive decision making. This position plays a key role in providing analytical and business decision support to drive financial forecasts, operating budgets and strategic goals. This role will work with other finance, business unit and functional leaders to compile and review annual budgets, generate forecasts, analyze trends in business performance, capital activity, and operating expenses and provide internal management reporting.

This role will work closely with and report to the Director of Operations. The position will also work with applicable operations leadership and accounting teams and will also closely work with the CEO.

Responsibilities

• Creating, consolidating and maintaining financial models

• Capturing and analyzing data from multiple sources

• Developing and maintaining Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s)

• Financial reporting and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, financial reporting, and Profit & Loss (P&L) management

• Streamlining data flow and automate the analysis process as needed

• Responsible for monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting

• Work closely with operating business unit leadership during the monthly forecasting and annual budgeting process to support business strategy

• Work with and provide support to various operating units in order to facilitate the flow of timely and accurate information

• Assist with quarter-end support for earnings, board reporting and auditors as needed

• Assist with the preparation of various state reports

• Complete Ad Hoc projects as determined by reporting manager to assist operations

Required Skills & Experience

• At least 2 years of experience in financial analysis

• At least 2 years of experience with financial modeling

• Strong skills (Advanced) with Microsoft Excel

• Strong data mining and automation skills

• Excellent verbal and written communications skills

• Self-motivated, analytical and detail oriented

• Independently manage and prioritize workload

• Business presentations: Assist in development of presentations to communicate analysis results to senior audiences, clearly articulate outcomes of analysis to leadership teams

• Ability to work in US timings.

• Collaborate with system analysts to maintain and develop system to house models

• Coordinate and collect input data from various departments, check data integrity, summarize and convert data, run models, verify, analyze, and communicate output data
