Position: Sales Manager

Qualification: Bachelor of Engineering

Experience - 10-15 Years

Location; Chennai

Salary - Not Constraint for right Candidate.

Requirements: 

  • Functional and disciplinary responsibility of the sales team 
  • Train and motivate existing sales team to highest level regarding competence and customer dedication
  • Drive active sales, intensify customer relations, and extend customer base in India, especially in the North and Northeast of India
  • Lead strategic sales projects relevant for the success in close collaboration with the management and corporate functions
  • Lead contract and price negotiations,  
  • Create, maintain strategic partnership/executive sales function with key industrial partners.
  • Systematic analysis of customer, applications, products, and competition data
  • Spot market opportunities for new customers
  • Recognize trends/changes and execute a suitable sales strategy
  • Align sales strategy with the management and corporate functions
  • Provide sales revenue and order intake forecasts and act upon deviations
  • Professionalize sales controlling and implement reasonable and necessary KPIs
  • Lead internal sales projects of process optimization, re-organization, or digitalization in close collaboration with the management and corporate functions
  • Support selective sales topics in public relation and participate in external activities

·         Skills & Professional experiences:

 

  • University degree, preferably in engineering
  • Profound people leadership experience
  • A proven history in leading a Sales Function or similar role
  • Experience in building and managing a sales network
  • Strong professional sales experience of technical products, preferably transformers or similar electrical components
  • Preferable high- level customer network in data centers and / or traction
  • Communication skills in an international organization in professional English language  
  • Solid knowledge in contract law and business administration
