A leading News channel in chennai is looking for a HR person with total of  6-8 years of experience in HR, with 2-3 years in Talent management .

Position will report into the Managing Director of the channel.

Objective:

1. Drive and deliver Talent Management initiatives like learning, goals, metrics, policy framework for the News channel

2. Track, measure and drive HR processes & performance metrics for various departments

Responsibilities: 

1. Driving Measures of performance 2. Utilisation - Drive span control and utilisation measures for each of the depts. 3. Compliance - Audit & Statutory  4. Training - Identify training needs and create quarterly training budget & calendar 5. Roles and structure: Create role progression maps for each of the defined roles. Create parameters for promotion and role progression 6. Recruitment: Prepare yearly budget for recruitment post consolidation from dept heads. Track and close the no. of open positions per every quarter through teams. 7. HR processes: Drive payroll, Performance Management, yearly increment & Separation Process.
