Job Description

Deputy Manager / Manager - HR

8 - 12 Years Chennai

1. To develop capabilities for manpower through competency framework model involving in competency assessment, IDPs & reviews.

2. Participate in Manpower Planning exercise as part of Business Planning exercise and arrive at optimum manpower in all grades and adherence to the plan which includes Recruitment Cycle Time, Cost, etc.

3. Create initiatives to bring in the best in the industry at the right cost & right time.

4. To induct new joinees for smooth transition to the new roles in the organization. 

5. To ensure implementation of PMS Process - Mid Year & Annual Appraisals; preparation of reports in line with the Corporate Guidelines & timely disbursement of appraisal letters.

6. To coordinate in conducting the Employee Engagement Survey periodically and facilitate in action plan implementation for identified areas for Improvement.

7. Plan & implement engagement initiatives, other than Engagement Survey, that are continuous, result oriented and sustainable.

8. Report periodically progress / status / achievement levels on various HR Process Parameters in form of HR Scorecard. 

9. Review the IDPs developed as part of Challenger Profiling.

10. Continuously support employees in their Development Periodical completion of their Development programs, training participation, etc. 

11. Plan for new engagement / employee involvement initiatives for Marketing Team to make them participate in the 5S at Regional Offices, part of CFT teams, Kaizens etc.

12. Travel periodically to Plants & Regional Offices to have connect with people in remote locations.

13. Monitor & coordinate for Outsourced Employees through agency and responsible for monthly salary & annual increments.
