Our Client is a leading Aerospace Industry near Chennai is looking for

Candidates preferred with Aerospace background

Position: ASSISTANT MANAGER-SURFACE TREATMENT/SPECIAL PROCESS

JOB REQUIREMENT

‘Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 6-7 years’ experience in manufacturing Surface Treatment plant

Or 

Graduate in Mechanical / Chemical Engineering with minimum 4-5 years’ experience in Manufacturing Surface Treatment plant

Age group: 27 to 35

? Ability to Independently design, execute and evaluate quality systems particular to assigned products, such as Process FMEA, control plans, FAI requirements

? Good knowledge on interpretation of Aerospace parts drawing

? Able to Facilitate Process certification events (Nadcap & AS9100), Manufacturing Process Reviews and follow up on open actions

? Good experience in Surface treatment on aircraft components, including preparation of components in conformity to customer specifications and development of work techniques (Anodizing and Passivation)

? Good Knowledge in Part Masking, Jigging and required PPE

? Expertise in Process bath Tank maintenance and associated tooling, Part fixturing, loading and unloading

? Can act as a cross functional team member and support other plating applications as requested

? Good in communication and co-ordinate priorities and process issues between operators and shifts

? Ability to observe and adhere to all safety policies and procedures and awareness in appropriate PPE

? Ability to lead continuous improvement in the process performance

? Ability to understand a customer’s problems and create new solutions to solve them

? Basic Knowledge in Non-Destructive Testing process
