Position: Chief Technology Officer (CTO)

Reporting to : Executive Director – Food Processing Unit
Scope of the role
1. Developing the company’s strategy for using technological resources
2. Ensuring technologies are used efficiently, profitably and securely
3. Evaluating and implementing new technologies and infrastructure
4. Optimizing the available resources and raise the performance bar by innovative ideas
Responsibilities
1. Create a Vision on Technology, production, Business Development and and its impact on society
2. Develop technical aspects of the company’s strategy to ensure alignment with its business goals
3. Discover and implement new technologies that yield competitive advantage
4. Help departments use technology profitably
5. Supervise system infrastructure to ensure functionality and efficiency
6. Monitor KPIs to assess technological performance
7. Use stakeholders’ feedback to inform necessary improvements and corrective measures to technology
8. Communicate technology strategy to partners and investors
Requirements
1. Proven experience as a CTO or similar leadership role with 10 to 15 years experience in manufacturing Coconut products.
2. Knowledge of technological trends to build strategy
3. Understanding of budgets and business-planning
4. Ability to conduct technological analyses and research
5. Excellent communication skills
6. Leadership and organizational abilities
7. Strategic thinking
8. Problem-solving aptitude
9. Doctorate in food products or a related field with MBA is preferable.
