Most people reach the spot of being a leader but find it difficult in establishing themselves in that spot.

Both these qualities have to be expressed in equal proportion.
A leader who projects too much strength will turn people off and on the other hand a leader who projects warmth will find it difficult to inspire confidence.
A leader must learn to communicate both of them in the right order. Warmth comes first as it forms the foundation of trust to form.
The difficult part is identifying which quality you have to develop more.
One thing that will help in gaining confidence is the way in which you stand and present yourself in front of others. Maintain a good posture when you talk and this will give a good impression to the person whom you are talking too.
To provide warmth to someone, find something that you can validate in them and share it with them. Standing up straight and smiling is the winning combination of strength and warmth.
