Job Description

Assistant Manager - Employee Relations

Roles & Responsibilities: 

Manage a team of BHRs and ensure assigned business vertical's smooth functioning.

Handle all queries, grievances and escalations from agents on the floor and ensure the same are resolved within committed timelines

Conduct Post Orientation Feedback (POF) every month for all agents who have completed 3 months with the process

Conduct regular refresher training on HR policies for both agents and Team Leaders

Ensure Confirmation Letters and Transfer Letters are given out within committed time-lines

Ensure timely completion and collation of appraisal data,EDP and C-GAP data on the floor

Implement Engagement activities on the Floor

Efficient handling of confirmation process

Conduct Exit Interviews for resigned employees and escalate issues, if any, arising of the interview

Carry out Exit Analysis every month for resigned employees and forward the same to the Corporate HR team 

Prepare month-wise attrition analysis and track trends, if any, in the data

Ensure clearance forms/ exit interview documents for resigned employees are forwarded to Corporate HR team to ensure Full and Final Settlements are completed within committed time-lines

Liaise for rolling out Internal Job Posting (IJPs) on the floor 

Conduct payroll reconciliation for any discrepancy in the data

Resolves salary/incentive issues faced by employees and ensure timelines are met

Resolve queries regarding Mediclaim settlements and ensure quick resolution of the same

Conduct audits for the following areas: Leave /PMS /COPC. 

Conduct Minimum skill testing for the Process

Ensure agents and Team Leaders on the floor are aware of HR policies and procedures.

Need-based escalation of decisions and ensure proper follow-up of the same

Assist the Corporate HR team in their initiatives such as E-Sat Survey etc.

Maintain database and trackers for all BHR activities

Co-ordinating with the DCT team for ensuring MSA compliance for the Process

Qualification: 

Graduate from a reputed Institute or University in any discipline (BA, B.Sc, B.Com, BBM, BHM etc); Diploma in HR would be preferred. An MBA/PGDBM in HR would be an asset. 

Desired years of experience: 

5-8 yrs year of prior experience in HR in an ER role. Experience in team handling as a Team lead, Assistant Manager or Associate Manager. Excellent knowledge of HR policies, systems and procedures such as Employee Relations/Appraisal/Payroll Reconciliation would be beneficial. Prior experience with a BPO with an understanding of its functioning and various processes would be preferred.
